Advanced Latin Intensive 2020
with Kristie Fox
Have you already been introduced to Latin nouns at the amazing Latin Intensive taught by Renée Harris? Are you ready to take on verbs? Is your student diving headlong into Challenge B or Challenge I and you want to help them wrap their head around all the different forms of Latin Verbs? Is your student way ahead and you want to be able to interact with their studies?
What am I offering on this day of study together?
· A thorough introduction to the principal parts of the Latin verb
· A specific model for how to “Build” a Latin Verb
· A comparison of the Active and Passive Voice in Latin
· An introduction to the subjunctive mood in Latin
· A specific model for using the Five Common Topics to help you and your student learn as much Latin as you can efficiently
· Resources for guiding your student when you cannot keep up with the Latin coursework
· Resources that you can use to accommodate different learning styles for each student
This Intensive is intended to help further equip you to excel in your role as lead learner in your home. There are many studies on the “best way to learn” a language and the number one recommendation is CONSISTENCY. We hope that these Latin Intensives help you see Latin as approachable and with the right model and DAILY effort, you will see great progress in your student’s Latin knowledge.
It is important to note that you need to have a solid foundation of Latin basics from your own studies. We will be spending our time with Latin Verbs.

Latin can be surprisingly fun and engaging, once the fear of the unknown can be conquered.
Let's conquer that together! We hope we'll see you at these Intensives!
